Given that the Crystal Tools engine is specifically designed for these types of tasks (porting between systems), the localisation will go hand in hand with the porting process, meaning no delay.
In fact, I'm used to waiting 2 bloody years for Final Fantasy titles to be released over here, less than a year is a god send...
Expect the US release within 6 months of the Japanese release, again a lot quicker than past games in the series.
Now THAT is how you do a trailer...Bloody Hell that looked fantastic. Can't wait to try out Wii MotionPlus.
Are you guys 5 years old? Talk about petty.
I actually think this is the more important part of the interview done by videogamer, as it explicitly states that localisation (English voice recording) is already in progress. So I guess MS isn't holding FFXIII release date back.
I think we can all finally put to bed the claims that MS is holding back the release date of FFXIII.

EU/AUS typically have to wait one and a half (sometimes two) years , before we get the game on our shores. This gap will be significantly reduced. They are already doing voice work and localisation...That is awesome.
Awesome. I expect a big E3 announcement to be the release of many more PS1 games on the PSN. Do PS1 games get trophy support?
I hope they announce PS2 support for the PS3 as well though. :)
I would love a new Pilot Wings, the 'bird-man' sections were my favourite, just gliding through the air taking in the sites.
A different language? Oh god now I have seen everything...You must speak 'American' and the author must speak 'English'... LOL. You know, cause they are different languages. :)
Thanks Examiner for telling me what the top 5 games are, even before they come out. Lame.
Awesome info mate, I'm really look forward to WKC (when it gets released in Aus).
This might seem like a silly question, but does the online play out like Phantasy Star Online (On the Dreamcast)? Cause it looks reminiscent of that style, with the 4 characters etc.
If they don't do a voice patch I will just use Xbox Live chat at the same time :)
Author = Mike Ferro :)
More Gamer.Blorg trash, come on filter, block this site.
Agree mate. We are all hardcore gamers here, I think we are more than capable of choosing which console(s) we want to purchase, based on our own wants/needs...
Was hoping the filter would start catching these types of articles.
I'm sorta over gaming atm. Nothing has really peaked my interest lately, I'm thinking Little King Story on Wii looks kind of cool though.
I really wish I had a PS3 to try out the demo :(
Point taken, you don't like the game, though a great many people would disagree with your statements. Anyway everyone is entitled to their opinion though, so thanks for the clarification.
Ouch Morganfell, a tad harsh don't you think? Fallout 3 won many GotY awards and deservingly so, the scope of the game is mighty impressive, even if you aren't a fan of the genre.
I still think it is ridiculous that consumers who purchased your product aren't given the full array of DLC to expand their experience, a bit of a kick in the teeth I must say.
LOL Nice review. I should give it a try, not usually into these sort of games though.
Never played this but it is good they are actually supporting the title with DLC. I heard Sing Star is still the premier singing/karaoke game though?
mmm...Now that would shake things up a bit.
Would be VERY surprised if it actually happened though.
